Hanging with our Vegas Peeps

This past weekend we made a return trip to the Vegas area to attend the St. Patrick's Day Rally hosted by our local Airstream club at Las Vegas Bay campground at Lake Mead. We're part of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) and when we moved to Vegas in the fall we joined the local Nevada chapter. And in case you're wondering, that's what the 10100 on Audrey is -- our club number. We have a cool directory that features all the members names and trailer numbers, so when we see people out on the road we can look them up!

Our chapter is a great group of folks and we were really glad we made the return trip home to attend this event. Each night we had a happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and drinky-poos, followed by dinner and then a campfire. Each morning we shared breakfast together as well, but then during the day everyone did their own thing. Jeff and I used the time to go for a hike and I squeezed in a nap (which makes any day a success!).

Not only was the conversation fun and entertaining, we also learned a lot of great camping trips as well as places to see on this big trek we're on. We're looking forward to the next group outing!
